How to Open or Convert to a PNB Rakshak Plus Account

1. Visit a PNB Branch: Go to the nearest PNB branch where you hold a savings account.
2. Request the Application Form: Ask for the PNB Rakshak Plus Scheme form. If unavailable, you can write a simple application to convert your existing PNB savings account to a Rakshak Plus salary account.
3. Submit Required Documents:
   • Identity Proof: Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, etc.
   • Address Proof: Rental agreement, utility bills, etc.
   • Service Documents: Proof of service in defense, paramilitary, or police forces (e.g., service ID, pension documents for retirees).
   • Additional documents may be required for clubs, associations, or HUFs if applicable.
5. Verification and Conversion: The bank will verify the documents, and upon approval, your account will be converted to a PNB Rakshak Plus Scheme salary account at no cost.
