Why battery plants need recovery
Battery and EV manufacturing generates large dry heat loads from electrode drying, curing ovens and cleanrooms. Because the exhaust is dry and must stay isolated, sensible plate recovery is the standard choice - rotary wheels are avoided where contamination risk exists.
How it is applied
Plate cores preheat make-up air and recover oven exhaust heat, cutting natural-gas and electricity demand while keeping streams separated for product safety.
Outcome
Plants recover a meaningful share of process heat, lowering both operating cost and carbon intensity of cell production.
