When gaskets are the weak point
For high temperature, high pressure or aggressive fluids, gasketed plates fail. An all-welded plate heat exchanger removes gaskets by laser- or braze-welding the plate pack, extending duty range well beyond gasketed designs.
Where it fits
CNCSP all-welded (APW) series suits steam, high-temperature exhaust and industrial process loops where leak-tight integrity matters more than easy plate access.
What you trade
The welded pack is not field-serviceable like gasketed plates, so specify it where cleanliness and pressure tolerance outweigh the need to open the core.
